What does Oakland Property Management charge?
Management is 6–8% of rent collected: 8% for buildings under 10 units, 7% for 10–40 units, and 6% for buildings over 40 units. Leasing is 50% of the first month's rent. Lease renewals are free, we don't mark up repairs, and there is no exit fee.

Do you work with Section 8 vouchers?
Yes. Section 8 (Housing Choice Voucher) and affordable housing is a specialty. We handle housing authority inspections, HAP contracts and rent increase requests, and we accept Housing Choice Vouchers and other lawful sources of income.
Can I cancel my management agreement?
Yes. Our agreement has a 6-month initial term, but you can cancel at any time with no penalty and no exit fee.
